About the Journal

Training, Education, and Sustainable Development is a peer-reviewed, open access scholarly journal committed to advancing academic and practical knowledge at the intersection of educational innovation, workforce development, and sustainability science. Published quarterly, the journal serves as a dynamic platform for interdisciplinary dialogue, targeting scholars, educators, policymakers, and practitioners who are actively engaged in shaping inclusive and sustainable education systems worldwide.

The journal maintains a strict anti-plagiarism policy to ensure the originality and academic integrity of all published works. Manuscripts found to contain significant levels of duplication, unreferenced material, or unethical citation practices will be automatically rejected or returned to the authors for revision.

Article Processing Charges (APCs)

To support open access dissemination and cover editorial and production costs, Training, Education, and Sustainable Development charges an Article Processing Charge (APC) of 1,500,000 Tomans for each accepted article. This fee is only applicable after a manuscript has successfully passed peer review and been formally accepted for publication.

The APC covers services including manuscript processing, double-blind peer review management, copyediting, typesetting, digital archiving, DOI assignment, and online hosting. There are no charges for submitting a manuscript or for articles that are rejected after peer review.

Peer-Review Process

The journal follows a double-blind anonymous peer-review process, ensuring that both authors and reviewers remain anonymous throughout the evaluation process. Each submitted manuscript is initially screened by the editorial office for scope, format, and basic scientific quality. If deemed suitable, it is sent to two or three expert reviewers in the relevant field.

Reviewers assess the manuscript’s originality, methodological rigor, theoretical contribution, ethical compliance, and relevance to the journal’s scope. Based on reviewer feedback, the editor makes one of the following decisions:

  • Accept without revision

  • Minor revision

  • Major revision

  • Reject

Authors are expected to respond to reviewer comments point-by-point and revise their manuscripts accordingly. The editorial team ensures that all decisions are fair, transparent, and based on academic merit.

Archiving and Repository Policies

To promote long-term digital preservation and scholarly visibility, Training, Education, and Sustainable Development adheres to robust archiving practices. All published articles are stored in the journal’s official online archive, accessible through its website. The journal also supports self-archiving by authors in institutional or disciplinary repositories.

Authors are permitted and encouraged to deposit:

  • Pre-print versions (submitted manuscripts prior to peer review)

  • Post-print versions (accepted versions after peer review but before final typesetting)

  • Published versions (publisher’s version of record)

All deposits must include a citation to the journal’s original publication and link to the article’s DOI. This ensures that the version of record is correctly identified and credited.
